Dear Club Secretary,
Balne Moor Model Boat Club at Kingfisher lakes,
near Selby, Yorkshire, will once again be holding the
National Scale Finals

The M.P.B.A. and this year’s host club, Balne Moor
Model Boat Club, wish to invite you and your fellow
club members to take part in the proceedings on the
weekend of September 20th. & 21st. 2008.

Saturday 20th. 10.30 start.

The Ship Handling Event, is an open competition on
the day. Anyone can join in, even if you are not part
of a ready made team.
Teams will be made up on the day, who will
negotiate hazards as a single, 2-man and 3-man
towing team.

Sunday 21st. The Main Event.
Starting at 10.00am.

Sailing for all scale Class’s, with 'On the water' and
Static judging for 'Exact', 'Semi Exact' and 'Kit'.
'Juniors' and 'Open Navigation' class are only judged
on the water.
Non-MPBA members may enter the'Open Navigation
class', however, proof of Insurance must be provided
i.e. Certificate of Insurance (or copy)or Club
Membership card.
